AxxonOil and the University of Salerno signed an agreement that confirms that both parties will join force in developing a new generation of environmentally friendly additives for “green” lubricants.
The project is co-financed by the European Union, European Regional Development Fund – National Operation Program “Imprese e Competività 2014-2020”.
The research, built on Axxonoil’s expertise in lubricants, will take three years. It will be conducted together with the Department of Industrial Engineering (DIIn) of the University of Salerno.
The project is expected to develop new nanotechnologies able to increase the productivity, with less use of materials and less energy spending, resulting in a reduction of the pollution and of the waste production, thus respecting the ambitious aims of environmental sustainability of the Kyoto’s Protocol.
